Mirrors Project

Arts, crafts and languages workshops for veterans in the Glasgow area.

The Mirrors Project supports Glasgow veterans with arts, crafts and language learnings.

The Mirrors Project is a weekly group open to everyone in the veterans community.

It is funded by the National Lottery and takes place in the Pearce Institute in Govan. The group offers a warm and welcoming space where you can meet new people, get creative with arts and crafts, and enjoy trying out a new language.

Each session begins with a morning craft activity, which changes from week to week. After that, the group breaks for lunch, and you can enjoy a roll from the café downstairs. In the afternoon, a tutor from Lingo Flamingo joins the group to lead an enjoyable language session. This year, participants also have the opportunity to work toward an SQA National 2 qualification in the language.

The Mirrors Project is all about connection and community. Come along, try something different, and enjoy a good blether with good people
