Kiltwalk 2024 - Dundee

11 August 2024

Dundee

Distance:
4.3 / 20 miles
Ability:
For everyone!

Kiltwalk is Scotland’s largest mass participation walking event, with almost 150,000 people taking part since 2016.

This event offers two distances to welcome and encourage all ages and abilities to take part:

  • the Wee Wander – 4.3 miles (approx.)

  • the Mighty Stride – 20 miles (approx.)

You will arrive on the day to a buzzing carnival atmosphere on the beach at St Andrews as excited walkers in a sea of colour and tartan muster at your designated start point. You can purchase coffee and snacks before you start your event if you need a little boost beforehand. Keep in mind, you’ll also be provided with complimentary water and goodies along the way to keep you going!

The final stages of your challenge will take you through Dundee Harbour on the Wee Wander or crossing the Tay Road Bridge on the Mighty Stride, finishing at the Kiltwalk Village located in Slessor Gardens. Once across the finish line, you’ll be presented with your well-deserved Kiltwalk medal and complimentary hot food. With the hard work done, it’s time to enjoy the party atmosphere in the beer tent, where a wide selection of soft and hard drinks will be available.

There are FREE SSAFA places available for all walks and distances, and every single penny raised for SSAFA will help support veterans, serving personnel and their families across Scotland.

Please register below and we will then contact you to confirm with you which distance you wish to take on.
