We are the Nottinghamshire branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. Founded in 1885, we’re extremely proud of our long-standing heritage and of all the work we do with inspiring people from Nottinghamshire, across the UK and around the world.

SSAFA is delighted to report that Veterans Railcard has become a Corporate Partner, supporting the mentoring of service personnel entering 'civvy street'.
Second World War veteran Owen Filer, and Wales' oldest man, was supported by SSAFA during the war, and 80 years later at his 107th birthday!
SSAFA's ongoing partnership with the United State's Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors provided another 10 bereaved service families with a weekend of "remembrance, friendship, and shared hope".
New partnership helps the SSAFA Overseas Community Health team provide improved service to Forces' families who have experienced the devastating loss of their baby.
