We are the Gwynedd branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
We are the Gwynedd branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
We provide lifelong support to those who are serving or have served in the British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Marines or the Royal Air Force, and to their families. Founded in 1885, we’re extremely proud of our long-standing heritage and of all the work we do with inspiring people from Gwynedd, across the UK and around the world.

Mentors provide support and guidance to individuals leaving the Armed Forces and beginning their new civilian lives.
Our branches need you! Can you help them find volunteers by effectively utilising online and offline recruitment channels?
Help us support those who need it the most at important times. Helpers provide volunteer support on a flexible basis, at peak times.
Help us by organising local events, communicating, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring the smooth running of the branch.
Manage branch financial accounts and statements, advising how money is best spent and working on a local fundraising program.
