We want our Armed Forces, both regulars and reserves, veterans and their families to know they can depend on SSAFA for support now and for the rest of their lives.
We know that our corporate partners can and do make a big difference to SSAFA’s vision, helping us to help those who have given so much for our country.
Why choose SSAFA?
SSAFA is the UK’s oldest national tri-service charity. We help members of the Armed Forces, their families and our veterans throughout the UK, wherever and whenever they need us.
From helping Armed Forces personnel struggling to make the transition to civilian life, to providing a confidential ‘Forcesline’ service that helps those currently serving. We operate a wide variety of services that helped over 67,500 people in 2016. And because we operate in bases and counties throughout the UK, your employees can have the confidence to know that their efforts are making a difference in local communities up and down the country.
How your company can get involved
From employee fundraising in Charity of the Year partnerships, to corporate volunteering, from Gifts In Kind to Payroll Giving. SSAFA has a huge range of activities to engage your company and colleagues and we’d love to talk to you about how we can work together.
The difference your support makes
- £100 could allow us to feed and provide safe, sheltered accommodation to a homeless, ex-service person
- £500 could cover the cost of training a volunteer mentor to helps members of the forces struggling with transition
- £12,000 would cover the annual cost of our Adoption Preparation Group which runs four times a year
- £50,000 would cover 6 months running costs of our Norton Home in Headley Court, where families of injured service personnel can stay whilst visiting their loved one.
Our Corporate Friends Scheme is an excellent way for us to develop long-term relationships with the companies that support SSAFA. It helps us to expand partnerships with our corporate partners, offer fantastic networking opportunities and engage with members of the Defence industry.
