About the role
As Fundraising Officer you will plan and carry out your own fundraising strategy including local and national events and appeals and fundraising through trusts and the corporate sector.
Volunteering for SSAFA is special because you get to see first hand the difference you make to people’s lives. Your fundraising will ensure that you and other volunteers can continue to provide practical support for members of the Armed Forces community and their families in your local area. You will be supported by the Regional Fundraising Manager in your area and the Secretary.
Your role might also involve working with, and recruiting, fundraising volunteers and you’ll work with the local Secretary to do this.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your local knowledge and expertise to benefit those in your community, while you develop new skills and meet some inspirational people.
