Service committee Treasurer

As Treasurer you will be responsible for the management of all funds and accounts for SSAFA locally.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident working with numbers to become part of a committed team supporting their local serving community. You will usually be working at your local base or station.

As service committee Treasurer you will be responsible, with the committee Chairman, for the management of all funds and accounts for SSAFA locally. This includes maintaining bank accounts, recording the receipt of monies and making authorised payments. You will need to regularly report the financial position to the service committee and establish links with the finance team based at our national office in London.

Volunteering with SSAFA is special because you get to see first hand the difference you make to people’s lives. Join us to use your expertise and local knowledge to benefit those in your community, while you develop new skills and meet some inspirational people.
