Legacy giving

By leaving a gift in your will to SSAFA, you can help create a brighter future for our Armed Forces and their families.

A gift in your will to support SSAFA's work makes a huge difference to the lives of those in the Forces family. These 'Legacy Gifts' ensure that we can continue our vital work helping those who have made sacrifices on behalf of our nation, people who need a helping hand to lead independent lives with dignity, knowing that their service to our nation is not forgotten.

Write or update your will for free with our free wills service offer. You can update your will online or arrange to visit a solicitor.

Your will can provide you the comfort of knowing that the people who matter to you the most benefit from your life’s achievements. And when you add a charity you care about, like SSAFA, your will becomes an incredibly powerful force for good. SSAFA has teamed up with two will-writing providers to offer you a free, no obligations will writing service.

A gift in your will ensures that SSAFA continues to support this and future generations of men and women who put on a uniform and proudly serve their country, veterans and their families, whatever challenges they may face.

You can download a Will Planner form here to help you plan for your will-writing.

Arrange to visit a solicitor - McClure Solicitors

McClure Solicitors have the experience and expertise to help you write a will if you don’t already have one, or to check that your current will meets your needs as intended. And, of course, they will be happy to advise on the most appropriate way to add SSAFA to your will if you would like to do so, although this is of course entirely at your discretion.

To take advantage of this offer, telephone McClure Solicitors on 0800 852 1999, or email contactus@mcclure-solicitors.co.uk (quoting ‘SSAFA’).

Make your will online - Bequeathed

We have partnered with Bequeathed, to provide an online will writing service. You can write your will for free from the comfort of your home, or wherever else you may be, at a time that suits you. You will be led through a series of questions to help you get a will that meets your requirements. During the process, you may be advised to consider taking expert legal advice. Should this be the case, a law firm will be recommended to you.
