Thorntons Partners With SSAFA this Christmas
We don't need much of an excuse to buy chocolate, especially at Christmas, but just in case you needed an extra reason, here's the perfect one: for the second year running, Thorntons is making a donation directly to SSAFA from the sale of all Thorntons Continental chocolates sold in Thorntons stores and on their website over the festive period.

Why not order a few for your friends, relatives and colleagues this Christmas (or just scoff the lot yourself)? With every sale helping SSAFA's vital work supporting veterans, service men, women and their families, this is one box of chocolates you definitely don't need to feel guilty about tucking into.
What's more, Thorntons is also running an exciting 'Continental Journeys' competition, giving three lucky people the chance to be reunited with a loved one for the festive period whom they otherwise could not have spent it with.
Do you have a sibling working on the other side of the country or a partner in the services that’s been deployed abroad? Thorntons could make a reunion with them a reality this Christmas.
For a chance to be reunited with a family member or friend this Christmas, simply tell Thorntons in 500 words or less who you would like to see and why you think you should be back together this December. A judging panel will then pick three lucky winners who will be reunited with their loved one, with Thorntons organising return travel home for them from wherever they are in the world.
The competition is now open and closes at midnight on 12 November 2018.

Ian Tweedale, Marketing Director of Thorntons comments: "It’s not about what’s under the Christmas tree, but about who’s around it. Our Continental Journeys competition is helping families to ‘Pass The Love On’ this Christmas, by bringing together loved ones who, for whatever reason, can’t be together during the holiday season.
"We’re also proud to be passing the love on to the charity SSAFA, which supports our servicemen and women, veterans and their families."
Good luck to everyone entering the competition!
