SSAFA Ayrshire raise £2242.38 in fundraising day at Kilmarnock

A huge thank you to the SSAFA Ayrshire Branch for putting on a fantastic fun day in Kilmarnock helping to raise awareness of the services we provide to veterans and their families in the local community.

The day began with a ‘Ride for SSAFA’ led by East Ayrshire Provost Jim Todd from one end of Kilmarnock to the Athletics Arena and showground where the public were entertained by The Royal Signals Motorcycle Display Team performing spectacular feats of balance, death defying crossover rides and outstanding acrobatics.

Special thanks go to all of the stall holders, the Army, emergency services and the Ayrshire Councils and leisure staff for their support. The free event raised a grand total of £2242.38 thanks to the generosity of the public and stall holders on the day.
