SSAFA Adoption service receive results from Ofsted Inspection
The SSAFA Adoption Service underwent Ofsted Inspection on 5 December 2016. Ofsted is an intensive 5 day inspection, scrutinising all elements of our service. So we are pleased to announce that we received an ‘Outstanding’ for quality of service and a rating of ‘Good’ overall. The fantastic commitment and drive displayed by our Senior Social Worker Practitioners is evident throughout the report. The team were particularly commended on how they have dealt with recent uncertainty within the service and ensured that the standard of practice has been consistently high.

The report also praises the excellent work of our Adoption Panel, our Agency Decision Maker, the support team, Senior Managers, the Adoption Management Committee and our Trustees. It is clear from the report that everyone involved in the SSAFA Adoption Service is dedicated to delivering or supporting the work that we do. This is extremely important moving forward, to help us fulfil our exciting plans for the future. You can read the report here.
