Spreading Christmas cheer and fundraising for SSAFA

A Christmas e-card designed by a young member of SSAFA’s Bereaved Families Support Group is raising vital funds for SSAFA this festive season.

Harley Inns is the sister of Rifleman Martin Kinggett from A Company, 4th Battalion The Rifles (4 RIFLES), who was killed in Afghanistan on 25 February 2010. Harley’s colourful snowman card is available throughout December via bt.com.  It features alongside designs by celebrities including Davina McCall, Sir Michael Parkinson and Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman.

Harley said: "I love Christmas because there are loads of fun things to do and I can spend all my time with my family and friends. SSAFA have looked after me and my family and when I’m at the support groups I get to make things and draw pictures to remember my brother. I really enjoyed drawing my snowman for the SSAFA Christmas card to say thank you for the help they give me. I can’t wait to share it with my friends. I even made sure the snowman is wearing a SSAFA coloured scarf!”

Harley’s card can be downloaded at www.bt.com/christmascards in return for a minimum donation of £2 via BT MyDonate. It can then be shared with family and friends via email or social media.
