Family Support Groups
Sometimes the people who help most are those who have been through the same experiences. At SSAFA Support Groups we are a community of Forces families and individuals all facing similar challenges who help each other and offer mutual support.

Support Groups information
Support Group for the Families of Injured Service Personnel (FISP)
Share experiences, information and advice with other families whose relatives have become wounded, injured or sick while serving in the Armed Forces.
We’re a tri-service group that’s open to partners, parents, siblings, grandparents and anyone else who is part of the family.
Support Group for Bereaved Families (BSFG)
Join us to meet and talk with other families who have lost a loved one whilst serving in the Armed Forces. Our group was set up by a group of bereaved families from across the Services and we provide mutual support, information and advice.
Support Group for Bereaved Siblings (BSSG)
Our group is here to bring together young people who have lost a brother or sister serving in the Armed Forces. We meet up regularly to talk, have a laugh and get support from each other.
Forces Additional Needs and Disability Forum (FANDF)
Our Forum is open to all Service families with a family member, child or adult, with an additional need or disability. We help each other to find out about and access the best support available to Forces families.
