Support for homeless veterans

Helping ex-Forces get back on their feet, and back into a home.

I was sleeping in the park for a bit but none of my family knew about that. I think it’s a pride thing. If your head’s not in the right place it’s hard to ask for help.

- Joe, Army Veteran

Life after the Forces can be challenging. At SSAFA, we know that some veterans find themselves on the streets, whether due to mental health, financial or relationship problems. We have developed specialist services to support them.

Our network of volunteers provide welfare services across the country, whilst our London Homeless Division has a dedicated social worker embedded at a London drop-in centre.

If you are ex-Forces and Homeless, or you know someone who is, please get in touch using the form below.

SSAFA's services are only available to people who have received at least one day's pay from the Armed Forces (British Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force, Royal Marines, including Reserves), or are in the immediate family of someone who served.
