D-Day Cycle Ride 2019

Following the success of Ride to the Somme 2018, we are excited to announce that the D-Day Anniversary Cycle Ride will take place in Normandy from 4-8 September, 2019.

The event will commemorate the cycling soldiers that fought and fell in World War Two. Money raised will go towards helping our present-day service men and women, veterans and their families when they are in need.

The Ride will include all the beaches used for the landings and head inland to include the key locations that were the first to be liberated. Here's what Gaz Williams, cyclist on Ride to the Somme 2018, had to say of his experience:

"One of the most amazing things I have achieved. I am an ex-serviceman and wanted to remember my great-grandfather who fought on the Somme. Visiting the resting places of the soldiers and paying respect to these brave men of The Great War was an honour. The experience was made all the more meaningful by being with such special people. This is an experience I will never forget."

"One of the highlights of my life. A real bucket-list moment ticked off."
