Cards for Good Causes is the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation. Buying your charity Christmas cards from Cards for Good Causes means you can choose from a specifically chosen SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity range of designs and support our work with service men and women, veterans and their families this Christmas.

You can also support SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity by volunteering for us in your local CFGC shop this Christmas season? Cards sold through Cards for Good Causes provide another source of revenue to help SSAFA deliver it’s services to serving personnel, veterans and families of the Armed Forces. SSAFA receive at least 75p in every pound from our card sales, less the VAT payable on the amount retained by Cards for Good Causes.
Each year Cards for Good Causes are looking for more volunteers to give time in one of their 300 shops across the UK, which are found in community locations including; schools, libraries, town halls and churches.
The minimum commitment as a volunteer is three 3 hour sessions over the trading period of the shop. We would be grateful though if you could spare more time. If this sounds something you could give your time towards, training will be provided to help support you in the role. The role will involve:
• re-stocking cards
• maintaining stock records
• using the till and accepting payment by cash, cheque and credit card where applicable (training provided).
Volunteering or Cards for Good Causes could be a great opportunity to get a taster of the retail sector, develop your customer service skills and meet volunteers from other charities; and help SSAFA and other charities to raise much needed funds.
